Our Son-In-Law Called To Be With Our Lord

Post by Bernie Gonyea »

ur Lord :(

My youngest daughter's husband, Dick , passed away this afternoon at 3:00 P.M. Kim has a huge amount of faith , but definitely can use our thoughts and prayers at this sad time in her life. She and dick had celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Dec. 23rd; 2010. He had been fighting this dreaded disease for nearly two years. Dick was certainly a " Born again " Christian " and loved his God like no one I have ever known.[ excepting Kim ] We know her faith will carry her thru this sad ordeal, but We are so appreciative of all the folks whom will put forth their condolences at this time. Dick's one trait which I admired greatly was his smile and Ears perking up when he listened to his old Dad-in-law playing steel guitar. One of his biggest loves was Steel Guitar Music. Which is why I wanted to share him with my steel guitar friends here on the forum. I know he'll be watching for Buddy Charleton and PaPa John there in Glory Land..RIP, my friend. Bernie [ PaPa Bing ]

Bernie,The loss of such a young man is so sobering and may to some seem unfair.

It is hard for we as mortals to understand such loss but we must accept that it fits into a much larger plan of God that is beyond our comprehension.

I pray for you and your family and especially your daughter who so quickly lost the love of her young life.

God's Strength and Blessing be on all of you through this trial.
