Just about every steel player who ever lived wanted to play like Ralph Mooney. A few came close, but no one could play exactly like Ralph Mooney.

Ralph I'm sure was an inspiration to all of us. I forced myself to pick clean from listening to his licks and rides. I was lucky enough to meet him. A real gentleman and pro.
