To day I lost my friend Ed Doc Rickles ,as his family said he moved from Alabama to HEAVEN. I played music with Ed for 20 plus years and he was like a brother ED and I went to many steel shows together I'M posting here because a lot of you knew Ed . Rest in peace brother, you'er already missed.

Leon, I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, Ed Doc Rickles. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. May he Rest In Peace.

Doc was such a warm and gracious man. Always a kind word to everyone he spoke to. RIP my friend.

Sorry to read of Doc’s passing. I first met him when I was putting the Fulton MS steel guitar shows together. Liked him instantly. He was a great man. Rest In Peace my friend.
