Bobbie Nelson

Post by Herb Steiner »

Bobbie Nelson passed away this morning. She was 91. Sad day here in Briarcliff TX.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

My heart goes out to all the Nelson family and friends. Bobbie and Willie have played in the same band for a long time. I'm sure everyone is just devastated.

RIP Bobbie and condolences to her family. I imagine she must have been the wisest one of all because as much as I'd like to have jammed and grilled her about Buskirkish days and such, she did a real good job of avoiding our impromptu late nite escapades around Poodie's, Lake Travis etc. Happy Trails

Boy, I can't believe Bobbie was 91. Very sad for Willie and her son. This is a nice write up from about 15 years ago about Bobbie and Willie. Very sweet:
