Jimmy Day's Blue Darlin' #1 was a 25" scale Sho~Bud Permanent, painted blue with white wood necks...
I think the color scheme has a simple elegance to it... It matches well with his name painted white across the front of the cabinet...
Has anyone else had a painted / lacquer guitar with white wood necks? Or was Mr. Jimmy Day the only one that played a guitar like that?

Buddy’s Nightlife guitar had white necks also. I agree, that combination is pretty cool.
